BACK TO BASICS

“In every home you need a strong base to keep everything intact, to keep things standing strong and tall.” 

Learning the foundations and fundamentals of yoga leads to a strong practice which is a blend between proper alignment of poses, breathing techniques, strength and balance. This 60 minute class focuses on skeletal alignment and muscle engagement in the most common yoga postures and transitions. It is perfect for first-timers, and seasoned practitioners hoping to refine their practice.

MELLOW FLOW

Beginner Friendly

Mellow Flow is a slow-paced vinyasa flow class. It merges movement and breath to warm the body allowing you to dive deeper into stretches, and into your own practice. A mixture of both gentle stretching and strengthening asanas, this stilling journey will help to quiet the mind and leave you feeling refreshed and restored. This class is accessible to all levels from newbies to advanced yogis.

WARRIOR FLOW

Intermediate & Advanced
Intensity 4/5

This energising, brisk and intelligent flow class connects breath to movement, and is sure to increase heart rate and create a cleansing body heat. The smooth and fluid transitions allow poses to flow from one to another developing strength, flexibility, stamina and focus. This sweat-drenching class may explore more complex postures, as well as some arm balances and inversions. Therefore, it is recommended that students attend a couple of Mellow Flow classes before attending Warrior Flow classes.

YIN & YANG

Beginner Friendly

Our Energize class focuses on the balance of the gentle, quiet, meditative practice of Yin Yoga with the powerful, active, and dynamic movements of Yang Yoga. The Yin portion of the class will teach us to relax our muscles, allowing gentle stretching of the hips, thighs, and lower back. The Yang portion of the class integrates a sense of steadiness and alignment, allowing openness, awareness, and endurance while strengthening and toning the body. Ideal class for practitioners looking for a well-rounded practice.

CORE & MORE

Beginner Friendly

Our Core & More class targets mainly the middle part of the body - abs, obliques, back, shoulders and glutes. Strengthening and building up these areas will help with posture, develop stamina, and improves overall strength required for both fitness and daily life. Great for everyone in any level of practice, especially those looking to achieve arm balance and inversions.

WARRIOR HIIT

Beginner Friendly

Warrior HIIT is a concoction between yoga, calisthenics and HIIT - a more powerful and cardio intensive workout, whilst stretching and lengthening the body. It will leave you breathless (literally), but you are bound to get fitter. This 60 minute class will push your strength, endurance, energy and focus to its maximum. Recommended for athletes or yoga practitioners with regular practice, but all is welcome as no prior yoga experience is needed.

FLIGHT SCHOOL

Beginner Friendly

Learn to move effortlessly during arm balances and inversions at our Flight School, regardless of your level as a yogi!  You will learn the strength, mobility and alignment drills that will assist you with going upside down. Most importantly, you will explore how to set up for it, the transitions in and out of each pose and what is required of you to practice them safely. Discover the benefits of being inverted and why it can be an important addition to your practice. Our teachers will provide modifications and options for all levels of practitioners, in a safe and supportive environment.

YOGASTHENICS

Intermediate & Advanced

Our Yogasthenics class is a hybrid between yoga and calisthenics. This class focuses primarily on strength drills and inversions leading to the world of handstands. Calisthenics techniques are emphasized during this class to achieve various arm balancing or inversion postures in yoga. As you go through this class, you will explore the strength and power of your upper body. You may notice yourself growing stronger and more stable in your handstands and inversions with every class attended!

HATHA FLOW

Beginner Friendly
Intensity 3/5

Hatha flow offers a blend of both the hatha and vinyasa styles of yoga - the best of both worlds! You’ll flow through a series of warmups, sun salutations, as well as strong standing and seated postures. Each pose will be held for a slightly longer duration of 5-8 breaths so that you can focus on finding the right alignment for your body, while building stability in your practice. Typically, the flow will work towards a peak posture, so you’ll have the opportunity to explore new poses in a little more detail. This class is perfect for those looking to lengthen and strengthen their bodies while flowing with the breath!

BUDOKON YOGA

Beginner Friendly

Budokon Yoga is a modern yoga style which unites the ancient tradition of self inquiry with modern mixed movement. It synchronises classical yoga with martial arts, calisthenics, animal locomotion and meditation. This class allows you to honour both the warrior and the yogi within you. You are bound to gain agility, mobility, stamina and strength. Budokon is open to all levels of fitness, but may not be suitable for complete movement beginners.

MOBILITY & STRETCH

Beginner Friendly

This 60 minute class is great for those who’d like to improve their joint mobility, muscle flexibility and muscle movement around a range of motion. It allows students to pay attention to the maintenance and strength of their joints, tendons and ligaments. This class is vital to reducing soreness considerably,  proper recovery, and improving overall health. It is a great complement for other exercise classes as it keeps things from being too tight. Suitable and essential for everyone!

PRENATAL MOBILITY & STRETCH

Beginner Friendly

An energising class which utilises the elements of yoga, functional mobility and movement to promote joint health and strengthen your body to relieve common pregnancy related discomforts. Mindfulness breathing and pelvic floor exercise are also introduced in class to provide relaxation and comfort to your mind and the areas of the body most impacted by your growing belly! Congratulations Mama!
