Our Variety of Classes from Yin to Yang
ASHTANGA BASICS

This beginners class offers an introduction to the Ashtanga method. Students will learn the basic technique for breathing and movement (vinyasa), meditative gazing (dristhi) and internal energy locks (bandha). Participants will be guided through the initial sequence of poses in a manner suitable for all ages and levels of physical fitness. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

ASHTANGA LED - PRIMARY SERIES

In this class, students will be led through the full Ashtanga Primary Series practice by an instructor. The sequences will focus mainly on one's pranayama (breath), drishti (gaze), and asanas. This class is suitable for practitioners with yoga experience as well as anyone with an existing Ashtanga practice. Additional instructions and modifications are provided so the practice is accessible to all.

BACK TO BASICS

Learning the foundations and fundamentals of yoga leads to a strong practice which is a blend between proper alignment of poses, breathing techniques, strength and balance. This 60 minute class focuses on skeletal alignment and muscle engagement in the most common yoga postures and transitions. It is perfect for first-timers, and seasoned practitioners hoping to refine their practice.

BACKBEND BASICS

Our Backbend Basics class is the perfect starting point for anyone who is new or looking to deepen their backbends. It is also great for those looking for a refresher on proper form and technique to access backbends safely. Backbends are an essential component of a balanced yoga routine, as they help build strength and flexibility.

CANDLELIGHT SLOW FLOW

In our Candlelight Slow Flow class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a typical Warrior Flow class. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, instead of moving to each breath. All of this basked in candlelight! Suitable for all levels.

CANDLELIGHT STRETCH

Infused in the longer, deeper holds - this class involves surrendering into poses and exploring them for longer periods of time in order to let go of tensions stored in the body and to calm the nervous system. Practicing this way helps to target deeper connective tissues especially around the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This practice will be lit entirely by candlelight helping us to balance our emotions & still our minds.

CORE & MORE

Our Core & More class targets mainly the middle part of the body - abs, obliques, back, shoulders and glutes. Strengthening and building up these areas will help with posture, develop stamina, and improves overall strength required for both fitness and daily life. Great for everyone in any level of practice, especially those looking to achieve arm balance and inversions.

FLIGHT SCHOOL

Learn to move effortlessly during arm balances and inversions at Flight School! You will learn the strength, mobility and alignment drills that will assist you with going upside down. You will explore how to set up for it, the transitions in and out of each pose and what is required of you to practice them safely. Our teachers will provide modifications and options for all levels in a safe and supportive environment.

HANDSTAND FUNDAMENTALS

Our Handstand Fundamental class will lead you to the point where you can confidently balance on your hands, and bail out safely. You will learn to train and strengthen your body for better handstands. There will be powerful drills incorporated to help you master your handstand technique against a wall and free-standing. There will be beginner, intermediate, and advanced options for all stages of handstand training.

HATHA FLOW

Hatha Flow offers a blend of both the hatha and vinyasa styles of yoga - the best of both worlds! You’ll flow through a series of warmups, sun salutations, as well as strong standing and seated postures. Each pose will be held for a slightly longer duration of 5-8 breaths so that you can focus on finding the right alignment for your body, while building stability in your practice.

HATHA INTERMEDIATE

Our Hatha Intermediate class is an extension of the Hatha Flow (basic) class. This class will enhance a further understanding of yoga, help students build flexibility, establish good breathing habits and posture. Students will learn the intermediate level of postures of stretching and bending, as well as arm balances and inversions. Highly recommend for those who wish to pursue yoga to a higher level.

INSIDE FLOW

Inside Flow is a yoga practice that combines dynamic movements, breath synchronization, and music. It focuses on creating a fluid and energetic experience to cultivate inner harmony. Traditional yoga poses are seamlessly connected through continuous movements and accompanied by carefully curated music playlists. This practice incorporates dance-like elements and aims to promote self-expression!

MELLOW FLOW

Mellow Flow is a slow-paced vinyasa flow class. It merges movement and breath to warm the body allowing you to dive deeper into stretches, and into your own practice. A mixture of both gentle stretching and strengthening asanas, this stilling journey will help to quiet the mind and leave you feeling refreshed and restored. This class is accessible to all levels from newbies to advanced yogis.

MOBILITY & STRETCH

This 60 minute class is great for those who’d like to improve their joint mobility, muscle flexibility and muscle movement around a range of motion. It allows students to pay attention to the maintenance and strength of their joints, tendons and ligaments. This class is vital to reducing soreness considerably, proper recovery, and improving overall health. Suitable and essential for everyone!

RISE & SHINE FLOW

Start your day with our Rise & Shine flow! It's perfect for those who want to move mindfully and actively in the morning. This practice is meant to unravel all the stiffness in your body from rigid sleeping positions, and connect your mind and body. It will include thigh and side stretches, hip and shoulder openers, backbends and core work which will help give you an added energy boost to your day!

WALL ROPE YOGA

Our Wall Rope Yoga class is a fun and innovative way to practice yoga poses with the use of the wall and the rope as helpers for resistance and support. It can add a feeling of relief in some positions. The ropes and wall are used to do things like hang upside down, support your back in backbends, shoulder openers, and even help you balance.

WARRIOR FLOW

This energising, brisk and intelligent flow class connects breath to movement, and is sure to increase heart rate and create a cleansing body heat. The smooth and fluid transitions allow poses to flow from one to another developing strength, flexibility, stamina and focus. This sweat-drenching class may explore more complex postures, as well as some arm balances and inversions.

WARRIOR HIIT

Warrior HIIT is a more powerful and cardio intensive workout, whilst stretching and lengthening the body. It will leave you breathless (literally), but you are bound to get fitter. This 60 minute class will push your strength, endurance, energy and focus to its maximum. Recommended for athletes or yoga practitioners with regular practice, but all is welcome as no prior yoga experience is needed.

YIN & YANG

Our Yin & Yang class focuses on the balance of the gentle and meditative practice of Yin Yoga with the powerful and dynamic movements of Yang Yoga. The Yin portion will teach us to relax our muscles, allowing gentle stretching of the hips, thighs, and lower back. The Yang portion integrates a sense of steadiness and alignment, allowing openness, awareness, and endurance.
